Why SEER?

Today’s technology is very much about convenience. When adding convenience, it’s important we don’t sacrifice safety and security. We are VAIS took all that into consideration and delivered a future of the Passive Keyless Entry

Do you enjoy having a car unlock when you approach?

Have you ever felt uncomfortable in the dark parking lots?

Have you ever wondered, Did I lock my car?

How do you get all these features if it’s not available for your car or it costs $5,000 to get to the next trim level for a proximity key?

Our Passive Keyless Entry system called SEER can add all that to your ride!

Using proximity sensor technology and a small keytag, SEER’s primary function is to give the user ability to unlock the doors before you touch the handle, add illuminated entry, and activate additional features of your choosing upon approach. It offers true walk-away lock and turns off all accessories when you leave. This is where this product really shines.

Bluetooth vs SEER

Many Passive Keyless Entry systems that claim proximity unlock use Bluetooth or NFC to achieve this feature. Bluetooth uses a standard network protocol. When the user approaches, the system has no idea where the user is and can only tell if you are present or not. When making the data transmission, SEER converts the data into packets that we then send to the device multiple times. If a packet of information is missed, lost, or bounced off the high density object which is typical for a Bluetooth, the Bluetooth device needs to wait for another packet. This equates to the user having to wait for system to work or not work at all.

SEER Passive Keyless Entry kit uses completely different technology. We use both LF (Low Frequency) and RF (Radio Frequency) technology simultaneously to track the user’s position, distance, and direction. When you approach, we use LF to recognize the user coming into the zone. Once inside the zone, SEER switches over to high-speed RF communication. Once this happens, the SEER unit starts tracking the user’s distance based on a numeric value. Every time you make a step, that number changes. This is a huge advantage because not only we have better accuracy and reliability, but you can also customize it to trigger different accessories at different distances. In fact, this is the same proximity technology car manufacturers use on the luxury or high trim packages models.

Security and Passive Keyless Entry Kit

Many drivers are rightfully concerned with the security of their car while using Passive Keyless Entry and theft involving their factory keys. SEER separates itself from the rest with a proprietary high security form of communication. When you approach your vehicle with a SEER Keytag it matches the quality of a factory remote, as you come closer where Door Unlock is going to happen SEER switches to high security communication to directly protect against ‘relay attack’ and ‘remote replay’ with our encryption and rolling codes. The system is absolutely impossible to hack.

Upgrade your lifestyle

Imagine walking up to your brand-new fully loaded tricked out Jeep Wrangler, and instead of having to touch the handle or pull out your phone everything is fully automated on approach exactly the way you imagined it. You can trigger the headlights at about 15-feet away. When getting closer you can then have it unlock the doors, kick out your motorized side steps, and even turn on your aftermarket rock lights. Now that’s what I call impressing your neighbor.

Can I add Passive Keyless Entry Kit with my remote start or alarm?

Yes! You can install SEER alongside most stand-alone remote start systems. It is also designed to piggyback onto factory security systems with no worries. If you are thinking about getting an aftermarket alarm with SEER, just make sure that model has arm/disarm inputs and you are good to go. Check with your installer as more equipment may be required.

Is Passive Keyless Entry easy to install?

Installation is similar to installing a standard keyless entry system with the addition of running two antennas. One antenna to the front center of the dash and one to the rear. Otherwise this is no different from installing a regular keyless entry system and possibly a canBus module for newer cars. SEER come programmed out of the box to fit most applications. If you want to do something really unique with it then you can customize it using the Flow Editor.
