VAIS SEER offers a production-ready Passive Entry Passive Start (PEPS) platform. We engineered this system specifically for small-to-mid volume OEMs and specialized fleets. Seamless BCM Integration. The system functions as a dedicated authentication node. It integrates directly with your Body Control Module (BCM) or Power Distribution Unit (PDU) via CAN bus with optional encryption. Furthermore, SEER handles the complex “handshake” of key fob verification. You retain full control over the final actuation logic for locking or cranking.
Advanced Proximity Keyless Entry (PKE). SEER goes beyond simple detection by offering zone-based proximity logic.
- Approach Unlock: The system detects the driver within a calibrated zone. It signals the BCM to unlock doors before the user touches the handle.
- Walk-Away Lock: SEER secures the vehicle automatically when the key fob exits the immediate proximity zone.
- Hands-Free Operation: This feature eliminates physical button presses. Therefore, it streamlines the experience for luxury and commercial applications.
Remote Keyless Entry. Additionally, the system includes full Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) capabilities. This allows long-range locking and unlocking via button press.
Wake-Up Circuit. Crucially, the SEER module serves as a primary wake-up circuit. Upon receiving a valid signal, the system triggers your BCM to exit deep sleep. This ensures the host controller powers up immediately.
